Yandang Mountain is a landscape of extremes: granite peaks soaring over 1,000 meters, waterfalls plunging into deep valleys, and temples clinging to cliff faces. The 'Three Wonders' — Lingfeng Peak, Lingyan Rock and Dalongqiu Waterfall — each represent a different facet of Yandang's beauty. At night, the peaks take on silhouettes that have inspired imaginative names: Husband and Wife Peak, Rhinoceros Looking at the Moon. The hike between them passes through bamboo groves, past ancient cave dwellings and across streams.
