China's 10-Year Visa: Who Qualifies and How to Apply in 2026
China's 10-year multiple-entry visa (Q2 for family visits, L for tourism for select countries) allows holders to enter China multiple times with stays up to 60-90 days per visit. Currently available to US, Canadian, UK, Australian, and Argentine passport holders. The visa costs US$185 (standard processing) and requires an in-person interview at the Chinese embassy/consulate. Documents: passport with 6+ years validity, completed application, invitation letter (for Q2) or detailed itinerary (for L), proof of funds. The 10-year validity begins from the date of issuance.
